Future Dr. Talk : Women and Cancer

asalamualaikum yawws. 

         Lately, I've been reading articles 'bout women and the how cancer looks so adapting to females. This is freaking me out. Women are supposedly to be strong, and now, cancer has taken so much smiles from the females all around the world. So, all dear females out there, be scared, don't take things for granted. We can't never know what are we developing inside our body. Clear example, Taenia sp, the tapeworm. (Thanks to subject Biology 2, I can now easily point out names of species scientifically !) Have your eyes on my words below, just want to share few infos as well as to practice writing essay :)


          Every year, cancer claims the lives of million women all around the world. Its sad.Whether it's because of the lack of information and women themselves are now more risky to cancer. But what to consider is that, women should reduce their cancer risk by adopting a healthy lifestyle and getting the right cancer screening tests for their stage of life. Don't keep yourself busy all the time women ! Leave your kitchen for an hour for the sake of future years in lives !  

TOP 3 CANCER RELATED TO WOMEN : 

 1) Breast Cancer 

Breast cancer is THE MOST common cause of cancer and the common cause of cancer deaths among females. Mammograms are the suggested and the best way to find breast cancer early, before it can be felt, and when it is easier to treat. If you're 40-49 years old, talk to your doctor about when to start getting mammograms. If you're 50-74 years old, get a screening mammogram every two years.

 2) Colorectal (Colon) Cancer 

 The third leading cause of cancer deaths is colorectal cancer. Im sure a lot of women out there don't even know what it means ! It's a colon cancer. Same way as for breast cancer, screeming tests for colorectal cancer can find colorectal cancer early,when treatment works best. Evryone should be tested for colorectal cancer regularly starting at age 50. So, ask your Mum or Aunt to go to clinics and do the screening test. 

3) Gynecologic Cancers  

Gynecologic starts in women's cervix, ovaries, uterus, vagina, vulve or rarely fallopian tubes. This is serious as this kind of disease affects one's ability to have kids. But, females can always take steps to prevent some of these cancers. Have you ever heard about Pap Test ? It's a test to find abnormal cells that may turn to cervical cancer. Removal of the abnormal cells prevents cervical cancer. Pap tests can also find cervical cancer early, when the chance of being cured is very high. The only cancer for which Pap test screens is cervical cancer. I does not screen for other gynecologic cancers. Next, for girls and women who are 9-26 years old, they should be taking the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine. It protects against most types of HPV that most often cause cervical cancer. In addition to Pap test, the HPV test may be used for screening women who are 30 years old or older, or at any age who have unclear Pap Test results.  

So, women, together, lets reduce the risk of adopting a cancer so that we can live life to the fullest ! 

 

Spec vs Contact Lens

entry kali ini is bout comparison between cermin mata a.k.a specs and contact lenses. Fuh, guys, tahukah anda that Im totally out of clear vision without these two? Shit. I mean, leceh okay. Especially, when it comes to watch movies. Kalau tertinggal spec tu, memang sadis for the whole day. ''Ella, pakai jela spec, kan senang?" Hahaha. You gotta be kidding me?! Like seriously, I am no wearing this stuff bila hang out. I looked like damn, nerdy person. plus, selekeh. Haha. But what to day, got to accept the fact that I was & am (wished could get rid of this kerabunan, could I? )rabun. The truth is, aku tak boleh hidup without the aid of this stuff. Rasa seperti orang buta. And yeah, I'd like to tell you one, funny, suffering story of mine:_

Day: Wednesday

Time: 8.15am

Place: Auditorium PASUM

      Lecture cell biology dah nak start nie. Hurray! I love this subject. Awesome :D and then, meraba-raba inside the bag, in hope that I could get my spec. But you know what? Tetiba ada  suara halus whispered kat otak aku, ''ella sayang, awak tak ambil spec kat atas meja study tadi.. lupa la letttewww. *sambil ketawa jahat) I was like, ''DAMNNNNNNN!" Dah lah, Dr. Yusmin punye lectures kena banyak tengok diagram. Memang cool habis lah kan, pandang je screen, tapi actually kau tak nampak apa2.T_T .sadis. But fortunately, my friend, Su ada. tengok jelah notes dia. Haih haih. See apa yang terjadi if aku lupa spec tersayang? Cool habis. (sangatlah kau mak jemah!)

     Tabiat aku memang tak suka ada benda melekap dengan muka or mata. and so that's why aku tak suka pakai spec. Lagi satu, kalau berpeluh, memang rimas tahap dewa punya. Eeeewwww. But then, kena harung jugak lah kan? What to do anyway? -sigh~

     But soon, aku berkenalan dengan cik adik manis, cik Contact Lenses. Comei nyerr dierr..ala mucuk2. Hhaa. Okay2. aku annoyed sekarang . blueekk. And aku harap dapat lah get rid of this spec and terus menuju puncak bersama lenses. Cool (sekarang baru cool) Hhaa. First time pakai lenses, rasa rimas sikit sebab macam ada bende dalam mata. Haha. But ah lama2 tu okay dah and I likeddd :D . besides tidak mencacatkan tudung aku macam time pakai spec, aku rasa pakai lenses relaks je aku nak melintas jalan ke apa ke. Clear. Haha. So, I rated this stuff 5stars. BUT

seperti yang semua orang tahu, pakai contact lenses ada baik buruknya okay. Yang penting, kita kena jaga kebersihan. Why? Sebab kebersihan separuh dari iman adik2 ye :P okay that one sebahagian darinya la. Prior reason sebab mata kita nie supersensitive. Tau tau. So, I suggest you guys pakai lah eyemore ker hape ke after dah guna lenses nie. And also, make sure tangan bersih tau. Kang tak pasal2, masuk jin dalam mata. isk isk. pedih makjemah rasa nanty. eeeeeeeik!

as a conclusion, You Choose What to Use. (up to you lah yep) As for me, spec kawan di room/ rumah/ toilet. Haha. But lenses for shopping/ hang out. Muahaha. Baru cool :P

Review- Cosmoderm Vitamin E cream

hey guys, nak share 'bout this wonderful product by Cosmoderm. Like seriously, this cream acts so wonderfully on skin. Yup, it's rich with vitamin E and rose hips oils, making our skin even smoother and glowing2 gitu. Actually, muka aku jenis dry and so, this cream helps a lot. Apply before tidur and the next morning, kulit rasa sejuk2 and lembut. BEST :)

Also, senang nak apply, which is good for me sebab kat sini aku agak rush in many things. Jimat masa aku nak tido. HAHA. aku pun memang kena rajinkan diri jaga muka sebabnya since duduk UM nie, muka senang sangat nak kesat, and kalau tak kena gayanya, pimples akan cuba mencacatkan penampilan. Eeee, tak nak tak nak! Tak tahu lah sama ada stress belajar cam nak mati or kuat berangan aku nie?? Anyway, memang taubat lah. Nak jaga muka baik2 supaya nak kawin nanti flawless je. HAHA. *lama lagi okay. takpe, beringat sementara muda remaja :P

PLKN mari ~

like what the entry said, Yes, today aku nak bebel pasal PLKN. honestly, since born, aku memang tak suka this PLKN bagai. for me, that's a big disaster in life if chosen. Shit! And then I was chosen. *betullah ape orang cakap, yang kita tak mau lah kita akan dapat . Haha, the story started when I was actually on my way for SPM examination. Time tu, aku dekat SMS Rembau for score program, & huru hara gosip mengatakan yang result for PLKN dah keluar. Cet, then aku pun agak berdoa bagai *please please tak mau pergi. but at that time, aku tak check lagi. And suatu malam yang suram di SMS Rembau, a friend of mine from SBPIS called and said ''Tahniah, anda terpilih untuk PLKN'' seriously cakap, aku like, ''what the f!" How can the picked me? I wasn't the one yang hambar in co-curricular. In fact, aku ialah PENGAKAP RAJA (LAUT) okey, gempakk kan. Memang siott habis lah kan terpilih pulak.

And so, aku kind of tak dapat accept the fact lagi. Rase mcm down pun ada, Haha. Oh ya, one more thing yang buat aku Not So into PLKN ialah my senior died during his time for PLKN, main reason- hygiene. So, aku memang menyampah gak lah kat PLKN. seriously lah, berapa ramai dah yang kene tu, kene ni kat PLKN. isk2, seram lah aku dibuatnya. But as mendekati SPM, aku lupakn kejap about PLKN bagai and started focusing more on SPM.

Year-end

          Okay, everything 'bout SPM dah lepas, now what? PLKN- thing messed up my mind again- yes guys, you see, again is the word i use for ''THINGS-I DONT-LIKE TO SAY'' it's like annoying giler tahu when I was actually tetiba mood marah, bila pikir pasal PLKN. haha. 1-1-2012, Finally, I HAD TO GO FOR THIS PLKN! first day, tak suka. dah lah, my birthday 2-1-2012 . Shit man! It's been ages since the last time aku celebrate my own birthday. I mean, i don't like to celebrate di hostel as compared to home. ''Home sweet home~" Then relakan jela. Dorm kat sana sangat besar or i can say, luas. About 20-22 persons can sumbat dalam tu. And i was one of them. Victims. Haha.

           But then, for the first 2weeks, hambar gilaaa as kene dengar bebelan mengenai sivik & kewarganegaraan . Shit ! Again. And the activities were sucks. Really. Penat okay, Terlentok2 aku dalam kelas CB (Character Building) Cehh, aku punya character dah ohsemm lah.

           Tapi, remember, there's always a rainbow after a heavy rain. :) Things got really better than what I 've been used to during the last weeks. Fun and Exciting. Main rakit, kayak *FYI, my team won the Rakit competition. First place. No doubt :) Haha, ini ella lah, tough.

          And kat sana, JL (Jurulatih) Husin was like a father to me. Dia nie memang sayang kat aku tau :P sikit2 panggil aku, suruh organize itu & ini. why me? because i was the one he could count on :) And maybe korang akan macm like 'what?" bile aku cakap yang Ella Hassan was actually been chosen as WIRAWATI TERBAIK KEM PADANG HIJAU , KLUANG, JOHOR. gempak? yes, that's me . Haha. percaya lah guys, things happen we don't really expect them to. why me? reasons: Aku sangat aktif in games, a trustworthy person for JL and of course like usual, ade exams untuk dapat this ohsemm title. First aku kene interview, second, aku kena jawab ujian bertulis (all 'bout PLKN) and magically, even tidur dalam CB classes, aku dapat highest mark okay. Alhamdulillah :) And so, I was rewarded with the title.

Conclusion, don't hate something really much until you are actually know it better. *speaking from experience :)

first day di pasum

PASUM (Pusat Asasi Sains Universiti Malaya)-with ellahassan

"omg. first day sampai di UM around 9.45am, sangatlah sesak masak (is that word exists??) okey whatever, the point is, next time, if any of my siblings or relatives yang dapat PASUM. I will be the one and THE FIRST untuk advice dyeorang pleaseee datang awal. Gosh, i had sweats all over my body. Mane taknye, berpanaspanas di jalan and finally, tiba di kediaman kolej 12 :)

        but then, so funny, sebab kne isi another THREE forms which memerlukan kami semua untuk mengisi nye. TANPA KERUSI AND MEJA untuk duduk. sungguh sadis kan at that time. and what i was thinking right at the moment "oh please, this is the best university,so how can they give us such this first impression?!"

tahan jela..what to do anyway right. dah sampai pun..so after i had my all forms filled, i gave them to the people in charge and dyeorg suruh ke blok B. 

         maka, dengan yakin, i walked to blok B..but malang tak berbau, after berpusing2 di tempat yang seakan sama plusplus dengan ramai gilakk parents and students, the destination was reached BUT the one in charge told me these pleasant words

               

            "blok B? yang nak daftar laki ke perempuan?''

my mum replied, "anak, perempuan.." and then, dy cam confuse gilakkk

           "blok B untuk pelajar laki sahaja."

and then, i was like, like seriously?! man, this wasn't happening to me right? but i woke up, and that was real. :(

rase very stress. (you know that) but kne truskan jugak perjalanan untuk settle evrything. isokey lah ella, benda common, sometimes, it needs pain and hard work to build up a great success. hopefully lah. hhahha

the journey was continued, and akhirnya tiba di blok D (for GIRLS) so, after pendaftaran sume, kne naek atas blok untuk ambik keys and since i've picked my roomate dari awal which was, lovely Syahiratunnadiah a.ka NAa :), everything went smoothly, alhamdulillah.. :)
